To monitor environmental impact, ensure regulatory compliance, and minimize operational downtime, a client deployed AVEVA PI System to centralize data from 35 monitoring stations in real time. Using AVEVA PI Vision, they created simple dashboards, and AVEVA PI Datalink generated compliance reports. This reduced monthly operator field travel from 600km to 200km, lowering risks and vehicle emissions while boosting efficiency. Additionally, air quality data collection and reporting time dropped from five hours to two minutes, significantly improving operational responsiveness.
