The University of Pisa expanded its Green Data Center to support high-performance computing (HPC) with Vertiv’s high-density solutions. To meet space and flexibility needs, it adopted Liebert® XDU liquid cooling and hybrid aisles combining air and liquid systems. Vertiv also provided a bespoke external Power Module, Liebert® CRV and PDX-PI cooling units, Liebert® APM UPS, RXA switchgear, Geist™ PDUs, VR racks, and Environet™ Alert monitoring. The result: scalable infrastructure, lower energy costs, and efficient operations despite building constraints, enabling HPC growth with strong sustainability and reliability.
