University of Louisville Trager Center The University of Louisville’s Trager Center indoor practice facility is just north of Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium and is used by the Cardinal football team. A Kirby Building Systems 213’ x 422’ clear span building with a 37’-8” eave height and 4:12 roof slope was used. The main frame columns were tapered, reverse slope with a haunch depth limited to 5’-10” to maintain a 202’ interior clear span. The 422’ length provides for a full 120 yard practice surface, with facility support structures at each end.
