University College London APPLICATION DETAILS: Acoustic screens for air conditioning and ventilation plant SUPPLY SCOPE: Design, supply and installation of an acoustic screen to reduce noise from ventilation and air conditioning plant to comply with planning requirements. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The screen was designed to be installed on the roof of the building and mounted to the existing steelwork supports. In order to mount the screen to the steelwork, painted steel channels were installed to face ?x the panels to the steelwork, thus providing an aesthetically pleasing ?nish. PRODUCT SELECTION AND PERFORMANCE The acoustic panels were designed to o?er a direct transmission loss of 25dBA.
