Additional Photography UM - LAFFERRE HALL MASTER PLAN & ADDITION We completed a Master Plan for the University of Missouri College of Engineering that detailed a series of improvements to be built in phases. The $21.9 million Phase One called for demolishing the 1922 portion of the Engineering East facility, and replacing it with a new multi-story building. The addition, and renovations to the existing facility, will benefit all engineering departments, including chemical, mechanical, biological, civil, environmental, computer, industrial, and naval sciences. Significant research space was added, and improvements were made to teaching laboratories, general classrooms and offices, as well as to the building’s exterior, structural, mechanical, electrical and life safety systems.
