Ultrafiltration (UF) Water Treatment Systems
Ultrafiltration (UF) Water Treatment Systems In July 2012, Pure Aqua successfully designed and manufactured four (4) Ultrafiltration (UF) water treatment systems to provide potable water for the construction phase of two remote mines in Panama. The most challenging factor was purifying feed water from local rivers since they were high in organics, suspended solids, and iron. Pure Aqua, Inc. manufactures a full line of Ultrafiltration Systems. UF is a pressure driven membrane separation process that removes suspended or particulate matter (including colloids & silt) from water. This solution is far more reliable than a conventional multimedia filter, which removes approximately 10 micron or larger matter, where a UF membrane pore size ranges from 0.01 to 0.10 micron. In addi
