UEFA Champions Festival Wernick Events Help Kick Off Champions Festival The UEFA Final is a huge event in the football calendar, and this year saw over 150,000 football fans descend on Cardiff for the Championship clash between Juventus and Real Madrid. While the UEFA final was held in the Principality Stadium in Cardiff’s City Centre, Cardiff Bay was playing host to the Champions Festival – a four day event focussed on football. Live music, VR experiences, memorabilia museums and a store, a barbershop (complete with barbershop quartet) and a number of goal scoring challenges were set up around the Bay for visitors to explore.
