Project Highlights: T. Y . Lin International (TYLI), under its Architectural/Engineering (A/E) contract with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services Division, developed civil and structural construction documents for the removal and replacement of an existing wood dock located at Cox Ferry Lake at the Waccamaw National Wildlife Refuge in Conway, South Carolina. The purpose of the project was to provide improved user access to Cox Ferry Lake and the Waccamaw River for visitors to the popular refuge. The project was overseen by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, Charleston District, and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, on behalf of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
