TWO-SPAN ARCHED BRIDGE RESTORED Problem Due to recent fl oods, the two-span arch bridge near Westerly, Rhode Island, had been severely damaged in several areas. This damage also compounded the deterioration due to many years of use without adequate maintenance. The state implemented an emergency repair program for the bridge and identifi ed the DowAksa CarbonWrap ® technique as the best solution to achieve the repair objectives in the shortest possible time.
