TMDLs in the Green Bay Watershed
Cadmus develops and implements TMDLs in the Green Bay Watershed CadmusKnowledgeTMDL Development and Implementation Planning for the Lower Fox River Basin and Lower Green Bay, Wisconsin Section 303(d) of the federal Clean Water Act requires states to develop Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) for pollutants causing violation of applicable water quality standards for each impaired water body. A TMDL determines the maximum amount of pollutant that a water body is capable of assimilating while continuing to meet the existing water quality standards. Cadmus was retained by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to provide support to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) in the development of TMDLs for impaired water bodies in the Lower Fox River, including Lower Green Bay.
