THE PROBLEM Clyne Castle is a picturesque Grade II listed building overlooking Swansea Bay. The castle, originally built in 1791, had many notorious guests including Winston Churchill and Queen Victoria. In later years Clyne Castle was bought by Swansea University, who occupied the building for many years as Student Halls of Residence. The building was later sold and refurbished into luxury one and two bedroom apartments. During refurbishment stage Protectahome was asked to inspect the property and provide a specification and cost for any wood worm treatment that may be required.
