2 PagesC A S E S T U D Y In support of its mission, the NSC developed its Web-enabled Safety System (WSS), designed to track and report on mishaps and hazards occurring anywhere within the Department of the Navy. By accumulating and aggregating these data, the NSC expects to create baselines for future trend tracking, which will enable organizational units across the Department to measure—and continually improve—the effectiveness of safety programs.
