The Sture crude oil terminal The Sture terminal on the coast of Norway processes, stores and distributes a large proportion of the crude oil moving out of the country. In the late 1980's, ABB supplied all the automation equipment at the terminal. In the late 1990's, ABB was awarded a contract to upgrade the automation and safety systems at the facility.
