The building was designed to contain 20 floors of luxury apartments and was part of the Croydon Vision 2020 regeneration plan. The project required electric underfloor heating throughout the entire development of 187 apartments and 11 luxury penthouses. The screed layer was designed to be 30 to 40mm thick which presented a challenge as standard in screed heating cables require a minimum thickness of around 65mm.
