Initially set up with Smart Card functionality on the YubiKey, the deployment has expanded to cover many systems and services, using protocols like Smart Card/PIV, FIDO2/WebAuthn (Passkeys), and OTP to enhance cybersecurity against modern attacks. This implementation ensures robust phishing-resistant authentication for privileged users, safeguarding sensitive diocesan operations effectively.
