The City of San Mateo, CA Yard Sale Map The City of San Mateo, California hosts an annual citywide yard sale and determined that it would need an application that provides citizens with interactive access to the many yard sales throughout the city. Out-of-the-box ArcGIS Online web apps could not deliver the desired functionality, styling or overall ease of use. Elements of the customization exist in some standard templates however not a single template had all of the functionality the City required. In partnership with GISinc, the City of San Mateo, CA developed a GeoForm template, a form-based application that enables online users to enter data about their event through a very simple to use form. Residents are able to submit information on their sale items and attach photos.
