The Castlefield Hotel, Manchester - SME (Tourism) | Enworks The Castlefield Hotel in Manchester city centre has saved £56,400 and 347 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO 2 e), after taking steps to improve its resource efficiency, with free support funded by ENWORKS. The 48-room hotel is located in the city’s historic Castlefield area, employing about 60 staff. It incorporates a number of leisure facilities, including a spa, gym, sports hall, dance studio, indoor running track and swimming pool. The business has been supported by an ENWORKS funded adviser from the local Groundwork trust, to address its resource consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, and has already saved tens of thousands of pounds in the process.
