Project Name: Bristol Community College Project Overview The 47,000 square-foot New Technology and Learning Center at Bristol Community College underwent a zero-net-energy design for their state-of-the-art integrated sciences building. The basis of the design was to create a high-performance facility with energy saving measures that meet Massachusetts’ LEED Silver Plus requirement by reducing the overall energy consumption by up to seventy percent. NEIS provided state of the art filtered fume hoods utilizing Erlab’s Greenfumehood filtration technology, which allows for the hoods to remain independent of the mechanical ductwork while capturing the vapors and recirculating clean air back into the lab space.
