Support for the Highway Safety Improvement Program Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Objective FHWA ’s Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) is a data-driven, strategic approach to improving highway safety. Cambridge Systematics has a deep understanding of the HSIP through the identification and documentation of successful, innovative, and effective practices. These practices were shared broadly among the highway safety community in user-friendly, attractive, and unique formats through the Noteworthy Practice Series. To further promote the HSIP , Cambridge Systematics updated the HSIP Manual, developed an HSIP training workshop, and created a promotional brochure.
