KL University (KLU) partnered with Red Hat and Prodevans to bridge the gap between academia and industry, enhancing student employability. Red Hat provided Train-the-Trainer workshops to 12 KLU faculty, enabling them to teach Red Hat technologies. This led to a 69% first-time pass rate among 971 students taking certification exams. The collaboration introduced high-value certifications, improving student career prospects. KLU plans to continue expanding Red Hat training to over 3,000 students annually, serving as a model for effective academic-industry collaboration to prepare students for emerging technology roles.
