CGL was instructed by Birse Civils (part of the Balfour Beatty Regional Civil Engineering Group) to provide a Qualified Person Declaration for the re-use of material from a donor site at Five Mile Hill on the A30 in Devon. The material was to be used for flood defence improvement works in the village of Stoke Canon, Devon. Following review by CGL of the information provided, it was identified that additional information would be necessary
