SIKA AT WORK STODDART BUILDING AT SHEFFIELD HALLAM UNIVERSITY , UK ROOFING: Sika Liquid Plastics, Decothane Delta 25© Sika Limited, UK / Case Studies / Roofing / DR / 02.2015 PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Stoddart Building at Sheffield Hallam University is home to the Sheffield Business School and includes facilities for students such as classrooms, PC laboratories, a lecture theatre, and a large entrance lobby with an iconic ‘quotation wall’. PROJECT REQUIREMENTS The building’s existing roof was made up of a series of pitched, profiled metal roofs with metal valley gutters, all of which were in need of refurbishment. The project itself would provide many challenges with the main one being the location of the Stoddart Building on a major road running right through the centre of Sheffield. SIKA
