Fairfax County is planning on building or renovating thirty- five schools in a five year period. From previous experience, Fairfax County wants to engage a Commissioning Agent ear- lier in the design process and sought out Commissioning Agents who could bring value to the design review and build- ing programming phases as well as provide thorough com- missioning services. Fairfax County selected Hallam-ICS to be one of the Commis- sioning Agents.
