Tel 01749 342706 Fax 01749 343627 St Nicholas Church, Bristol The Bristol Diocesan Board commissioned Ellis and Co to complete the refurbishment and internal modification of St Nicholas Church. Built in 1769 on the site of an earlier medieval church, St Nicholas is a Grade II* listed church, situated on the river next to Bristol bridge. WWII bombing raids destroyed the main body of the church in 1940. It was rebuilt after the war and used as offices by Bristol City Council. In 2018 St Nicholas’ was returned to use as a place of worship. Ellis and Co were commissioned as principle contractor to complete the internal works. The church view from the outside.
