CASE STUDY ST JOHN THE BAPTIST SCHOOL PROVIDING ADDITIONAL OUTSIDE CLASSROOM SPACE In addition to the 20 cycle Hamble Shelter that Lockit-Safe installed for the St John the Baptists Primary School, we also provided bespoke canopies in two areas of the school. These were designed not only to provide weather protection to existing play areas, but also create some valuable ‘outside classroom’ space. THE SOLUTION Bespoke canopy designs covered areas attached to classrooms, one 9m x 4m and the other 8 x 6m. The areas had existing play equipment that could not be used in wet weather and canopies also allowed the class to take advantage of the outdoor space for teaching providing shelter from both the rain and the sun.The school opted for multi coloured powder coating to make the canopy bright an
