SOUTH PENNINE MOORLAND FRINGE HABITAT SURVEYS CASE STUDY Hay-cutting on in-bye land on the moorland fringeBRIEF In autumn 2012 we were appointed to undertake a Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) for the Bradford District Draft Core Strategy in order to assess potential impacts on the North and South Pennine Moors. The Moors are both designated as Special Areas of Conservation (SAC) and Special Protection Areas (SPA) due to their internationally important habitats and breeding bird populations.
