HOK provided architectural and exhibit design for the Silent Wings Museum, which is located in a 1950s-era airport terminal at Lubbock International Airport. Silent Wings Museum at Lubbock International Airport Converting a 1950s Airport Terminal into a New Museum HOK designed the interior renovations of the old Lubbock Airport passenger terminal as well as a new “hangar” area for displaying restored Waco CG-4A gliders and other large exhibits. The museum documents the history of gliders in warfare.
