Seven sex offenders stopped in one year in St. Charles Parish Public Schools CHALLENGE Prior to 2016, St. Charles Parish Public Schools relied on a manual visitor management process that involved emailing each school a list of local sex offenders. Front desk staff were then to review the list each time a visitor checked in. This was not only a time-consuming process, but in addition, schools had no way to effectively check an up-to-date database of the sex offender registries in all 50 states.
