Challenge: A major operator in the Barnett Shale near Ft. Worth, TX was unable to run any plunger successfully in a deep, deviated well. Multiple competitors’ plungers of different types were unsuccessful reaching the well’s decline curve production forecast, as well as needing to be pulled due to the plungers failing to run.
