Structural Engineering In its hey-day Dreamland was one of the UK’s best loved amusement parks and was amongst the top ten visitor attractions in the country. Dreamland reopened in 2015 as a heritage theme park with the fully restored Scenic Railway as its centrepiece. The Scenic Railway is one of the oldest timber framed roller- coasters in the world and is one of only 8 such rides left in the world. Although a large part was destroyed by fire in 2008, we are very proud to have played a part in helping this grade 2 listed landmark be restored to its former glory. The whole project was Heritage lottery funded and had to be re- built using the same materials and styles as the original
