THE PROJECT: Provide maximum flexibility and expansion capability for a new corporate headquarters data center. THE SOLUTION: greensource Cincinnati worked with the IT department at Tempur- Pedic to design am expandable data center for their new building. The challenges included putting this in a relatively small room on sealed concrete on the first floor of a four story building. Aesthetics were very important in the room as well as outside the building. Two modulating chillers were installed on the roof capable of handling the final load. APC In- Row cooling systems were provided inside a Sub-Zero hot aisle containment system and a custom piping manifold.
