Working with Public Sewer Services and Anglian Water, the SanitTube liner was installed within a two day working window defined by traffic management and tankering schedules. The PVC rising main was exposed on either side of the bridge crossing and the pipe was surveyed by a CCTV camera. Cleaned by high pressure jetting and ‘pigging’, the SaniTube liner was winched through the host pipe and the end seals were inserted prior to inflating with compressed air. SaniGrip Couplings were then used to anchor the liner to the host pipe in both launch and reception pits.
