Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew
Long Rake Spar - Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew Long Rake Spar were delighted to have been involved in the prestigious new Broad Walk project at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew by supplying specialist dried aggregates to Addagrip’s 3000sqm Terrabase Rustic porous paving system, installed by approved contractor True Grip Ltd. The surface was part a larger scheme to create the longest double herbaceous borders in the UK. The 300m long borders either side of the Broad Walk will be planted with vibrant summer flowering perennials, grasses and bulbs to form a spectacular new horticultural feature. Addagrip’s resin bound surfacing system Terrabase Rustic was chosen because it’s larger 6-10mm stone size, supplied by Long Rake Spar, provided the rustic looking finish that Kew required and could be
