The plant’s objective was to remove long fiber from the caustic solution for reuse in a closed-loop system. Solution Kadant Solutions conducted a RotoFlex resource recovery strainer trial with a 150 gpm unit which was a new concept for the plant. Results The trial was successful and performed well without interruptions. The trial unit significantly reduced the amount of long fiber within the closed system.
