The station, jointly owned by NV Energy and Great Basin Transmission, is the point of origin for the southern segment of the ON Line Transmission Line (formerly Southwest Intertie Project), a new 500 kV transmission line that links NV Energy’s northern 345 kV and southern 500 kV service territories and enables a diverse set of generating sources to reach major load centers.
