OUR SUCCESS STORIES LC Energy was commissioned by Birtley House nursing home to increase the sustainability of their heating, whilst improving control and e ciency of space and water heating. In October 2014, we removed an existing KWB 150 kW wood chip red boiler, and installed the new ETA 199 kW. The previous boiler system used a temperature dierential between Flow and Return ( ?T) of about 11°C. By employing the new ETA 199 kW boiler, it was intended to increase the maximum temperature dierential used for heat distribution to about 15°C. LC Energy guided Birtley House with their non-domestic RHI application, and continue to supply wood chip as fuel for this boiler.
