Tiger 400W & 900W floodlights provided the solution. The Garden Well open pit mine has been operating since 2012. It is a 24 x 7 operation. The provision of adequate light over the Run-of-Mine pad and crusher are vital to the safety and efficiency of the processing throughout the night. Tigerlight replaced existing lighting with heavy duty industrial floodlighting sufficient to illuminate the area from 15m light towers. The existing lighting was comprised of 1000W and 2000W MH floods, which were seen as inefficient, high maintenance and not offering inadequate light for the purposes of running the mine safely and success
