Refurbished mitre gates boost flood defences Case Study: 046 ECS Engineering Services carried out a comprehensive refurbishment of mitre gates at a pumping station. Appointed by the Environment Agency to complete the project, ECS was able to boost the flood defence capabilities with uprated gates despite facing a number of challenges.
