Re-roofing the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Batcombe St Marys Church, Batcombe is a Grade I listed church in Somerset dating to the 15 th and 16 th centuries. It is built of rubble, ashlar and dressed with local Doulting stone. In 2017 we re- laid the Nave and Aisle lead roofs and repaired masonry. We erected a temporary roof to protect the Nave, and Aisle roofs, then lifted and replaced the eroded lead. Our carpenters repair timbers and constructed and fitted new oak rafter feet. Additional timbers, concrete and sacrificial lead were built in to support the future installation of a solar panel array. Guttering was removed and reinstated. Our skilled masons re-fixed loose parapet coping stones and the pinnacle stones to the south-east corner of the spire. Pierced
