The thermoset plastics which the company processes and supplies to a number of sectors including the automotive industry are available in around 200 dierent colours. After every colour change the production lines have to be cleaned. The company uses a Ruwac explosion-proof vacuum cleaner for this job. Raschig GmbH, which is based in Ludwigshafen, Germany, manufactures a wide range of thermoset moulding compositions at its Espenhain site. They include melamine and melamine-phenolic resin moulding compositions and polyester resin moulding compositions.
