WASTOP ® PROTECTING FROM HIGH RIVER LEVELS, ALE, SWEDEN - WASTOP DN1400 PE Location: Ale, Sweden Customer: Ale Municipality PROBLEM: A curved duckbill valve had been installed to protect Ale Municipality from ooding caused by high river levels. During a routine inspection they discovered that the valve was completely destroyed and no longer worked. It was locked open in both directions and had lost its all exibility. SOLUTION: A WaStop valve was installed to replace the curved duckbill. A PE valve was also tted, to enable a complete construction with ange and all details mounted ready for installation directly from our factory.
