Princess Royal Centre for the Performing Arts
Peter Brett (PBA) | Princess Royal Centre for the Performing Arts The Princess Royal Centre provides multi-use educational facilities for further education, allowing Guernsey islanders to train in a fully functioning theatre. PBA overcame a number of challenges to deliver the building which consists of four zones including a three storey central auditorium and a double height entrance foyer. The zones were originally meant to be interconnected, but the multiple changes in floor level and irregular geometry of the building significantly reduced the ability to load share lateral forces between each zone.
