Universidad Ana G. Méndez partnered with HPE Digital Learner to close the skills gap between academia and employers. Moving to a competency-based curriculum, the university integrated the platform to teach AI, Big Data, and analytics, while offering remote learning during the pandemic. HPE Digital Learner’s subscription model provides broad, affordable IT training, helping students earn certifications alongside degrees. A pilot with 25 students expanded into a long-term strategy to offer specialized certificates and lifelong learning. This approach boosts graduates’ job prospects and supports Puerto Rico’s economic growth.
