Poznan energy-from-waste facility City Posen Country Poland Completion 2016 A premiere in Poland: For the first time, private companies are building an energy-fromwaste plant for a municipality using the PPP model. The consortium includes the power plant and energy specialists as well as the Polish construction professionals at HOCHTIEF Solutions. The plant in Pozna? comprises two incineration lines with a total capacity of 210,000 metric tons per year. From 2016, the heat generated will be used as district heating and to generate enough electricity to supply 20,000 households.
