POWER STATION BOILER CLEAN PROJECT The Bayswater Power Station is one of the largest coal fired power stations in Australia. Boiler chemical cleans are required every five to eight years to remove excess oxide from the boiler internal surfaces to ensure the boiler operates in a clean and efficient manner. One of the core components of the project was the coordination and management of the various maintenance, operating and sub- contractor staff to ensure everyone was able to meet the scheduled timeline. In addition, plans were put in place to ensure costly delays did not occur during shutdown, in the event of plant failure or equipment malfunctions.
