Poundworld Groundworks Solution Outside Leeds, on a prime 30-acre site near Junction 32 of the M62, a vast new warehouse has been under construction. Being developed by CDP Ltd, the development arm of the Marshall Construction Group, the £39.4 million property is the new retail distribution centre for Poundworld, the value retailer with more than 300 stores in the UK. Assessment of the site determined the need for gas barrier protection to protect the building against radon, methane and CO2. The solution chosen by contractors Marshall Construction (West Yorkshire) Ltd was Powerbase® Multigas 300 from Industrial Textiles & Plastics Ltd of North Yorkshire.
