Pooling their resources Thanks to its largest fundraising campaign in decades, and some stunning Altro Whiterock Chameleon wall cladding, the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Centre has reopened its therapeutic pool. Plagued by corroded pipes creating expensive leaks, and an outdated interior, the pool was forced to close in December 2011. Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Centre then became the only such facility in Canada without hydrotherapy. Patients with joint and muscle pain often use therapeutic pools for physical therapy and relief, and hydrotherapy’s benefits are not easily replicated.
