Polar, a UK-based data center operator, partnered with Vertiv to build its DRA01 AI-ready facility in Norway. Designed for HPC and AI workloads, the prefabricated modular solution delivers 12 MW IT capacity (expandable to 50 MW) with rack densities up to 110 kW. Factory-tested modules integrate EXL S1 UPS with Li-ion batteries, AFC glycol-free chillers, liquid cooling, and N+1 redundancy for high efficiency and resilience. Features include corrosion protection, fire safety, advanced BMS, and security systems. The project targets a PUE as low as 1.15, fast deployment, scalability, and significant TCO savings.
