POET LLC Founded in 1987, POET LLC is a U.S. biofuel company that specializes in the creation of bioethanol and, since its inception, has grown to one of the world’s largest producers of ethanol and other bio-refined products. The privately held corporation, originally called Broin Companies, is headquartered in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
