1 PagesHICLOUD HIGH BAY CHALLENGE: This area was faced with poor lighting that wasn’t uniform across the ice surface, costly and time- consuming maintenance, and long warm-up time when the lights were turned on. SOLUTION: We replaced the old metal halide 400W lights with our 200W HiCloud High Bay LED’s. The arena’s new lights use less power and require no maintenance. The arena is able to control the lighting from a smartphone application. The benefits include putting the lights on a timer, turning only one side of the arena on if the other side is not in use, and putting on a light show when a goal is scored.
